An aesthetic and excellent, old-time combination specimen from this famous mine, closed in 1884, and renowned for superb bournonite specimens. An impressive, 2.8 x 2.5 cm, cluster of sharp, iridescent golden chalcopyrite sphenoids is artistically set on the sculptural matrix of highly lustrous, metallic-gray, galena cuboctahedrons. Small glassy quartz crystals are a fine accent and contrast. A bit of scattered bruising is noted, but is certainly a very modest detraction to this fine old-time combination from this historic mine.
