Chalcopyrite coating Tetrahedrite with Galena and Quartz

Years ago there were so many of these superb quality sulfides from Peru on the market, and they seem to have disappeared recently. This piece features semi lustrous, metallic golden Chalcopyrite completely coating tetrahedrons of Tetrahedrite measuring 1.1 cm on edge. The Chalcopyrite / Tetrahedrite combo is sitting beautifully on crystallized Quartz matrix with minor Galena mixed in. This is a good quality display specimen, and these pieces are becoming more and more difficult to obtain these days. No real damage to speak of on the display side, but it does have a mark where it was removed from the pocket wall.
