Item Description

Beautifully iridescent, brassy, sharp and lustrous, chalcopyrite crystals to 1.5 cm are aesthetically scattered amongst a forest of quartz needles on the scuptural, vuggy rhyolite matrix, that is shaped like a shoe. This fine piece is from the very uncommon Empire Zinc Mine of New Mexico. Undoubtably old material, but no proof. Ex Mullane Collection.
