A dramatic, sculptural, CABINET specimen from Santa Eulalia and the Stoudt Collection. The front of this fine, shoe-shaped, two-sided piece hosts numerous, very sharp, brassy with fabulous iridescence, chalcopyrite sphenoids to 1.5 cm nicely accented with tufts of cream-colored, dogtooth calcite crystals. The backside is another story. Here, the dogtooth calcite covers everything, including chalcopyrite crystals, larger calcite rhombs and even a nifty, 3.5 cm, doubly terminated, calcite scalenohedron. Classic combo material from this famous locale.
