Flashy, massive cluster of sharp, pagoda-shaped, brassy Chalcopyrite octahedrons on a massive Chalcopyrite base. The brassy Chalcopyrites have a bright metallic luster, nice patina, and the octahedrons have complex, stepped growth pattern to the faces - not unlike many of the Hausmannites from Wessels. A very attractive, dramatic piece for the sheer size and level of good crystalization. Old material.
