Chalcomenite is a rare hydrated Cu-selenite and this rich specimen is from a well-known Sardinian locale for this rarity. Bright, colorful rich grayon-blue prismatic crystals are richly scattered on one face of the matrix. Ex Frank Patania Collection. An excellent and rich example of the species and locale and among the richest we have seen overall, compared to more common african material.
