Item Description
Sharp, splendent, lightly iridescent, dark metallic-gray chalcocite crystals form a very showy and excellent specimen from this very obscure Queensland mine, formerly known as the Mammoth Mine. The striking, sharply terminated crystal is 1.4 cm across. The exact locality is the 4765 Level, Extraction level West 1, Footwall Stockpile. RARE on the market. A nifty two-sided piece with very modest periphery wear, all at the base.
