Item Description

Sharp to subhedral to granular, variable iridescent, charcoal-gray, chalcocite crystals to about 1.4 cm totally comprise this sculptural, showy, highly representative small cabinet from the famous mid-1990s finds at the Flambeau Mine of Wisconsin. Some areas have striking and beautiful peacock-blue iridescence. I particularly like the way the largest crystals are aesthetically set on the crest of the piece. The well-known Rocket Pocket was found in August, 1996. A fine, very rich, 360-degree piece. The locale is now extinct - literally reclaimed and covered over. Valued $950-1250
