Item Description

A hard to find piece from the lesser-known Las Cruces Mine in Andalusia, Spain, which is probably best known for its copper/silver sulfides/sulfosalts. The Chalcocites from this mine feature notably well-formed crystals with distinct, sharp face and excellent luster. This piece is a great example of said material hosting dozens of metallic dark grey crystals, which are actually beautiful cyclic twins, measuring up to 7 mm on matrix. Most of the crystals are pristine and look fantastic up close. If you're a fan of sulfides or copper minerals, this is something you don't see on the market very often, and the quality is very fine for the species.
