A showy and excellent jackstraw plate of moderately iridescent and lustrous, black metallic, tabular crystals from the famous Leonard Mine, where the original covellite has been replaced by chalcocite! Some crystals have broken edges, so you can see the replacement is complete inside. A highly representative miniature example of the species and this rare pseudomorph replacement from this noted locale. Older material from the Jack Parnau Collection.
