Item Description
Striking, sharp, lustrous, pseudohexagonal, tabular chalcocite crystals to 9 mm on this very showy and rich combination from this historic group of mines. The back of the piece is a contacted vein of iridescent, striated bornite. The bruised crystals are certainy acceptable in the context of such a rich and rare old combination. Ex A.K. Borland Collection, a prominent mid-20th Century English collector and Herb Obodda dealer stock. Fairly valued at $1500. Excellent, old and very rare combination material in this quality from this locale.
