Item Description
Sharp, lead-gray, chalcocite crystals are aesthetically perched on matrix on this fine, old-time, 2-piece lot from the famous mines of the St. Just District. Some of the crystal faces are beautifully striated, while others are not. These undoubtably date to the 19th century. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in a trade with the British Museum in 1975. Classic Cornwall.
