This rich, old-time chalcocite from the historic Levant Mine has a super provenance, having been in the collection of Sir Arthur Russell. Solid chalcocite consisting of intergrown, pseudohexagonal platelets with a matte-finish, but being very colorful magenta, purple and golden predominating. Classic, textbook chalcocite from a famous mine with a great attribution - how can it get any better?
