Item Description

The Las Cruces Mine in Spain is a well-known polymetallic deposit that has produced excellent crystallized specimens of various copper or silver sulfides and sulfosalts, including some really choice Chalcocites. This piece is from a find in 2019 and features excellent, razor-sharp, highly lustrous, dark silvery-grey metallic pseudo-hexagonal blades of Chalcocite measuring up to 5 mm on matrix. The crystals look great up close showing superb morphology.
From the collection of Raúl Sanabria Orellana.
