Item Description
Sharp, lustrous, gray chalcocite crystals to 2 mm are nicely scattered on the sculptural gossan matrix. The chalcocite is associated with clusters of quartz crystals. The area around this historic mine was intermittently active from the late 1700s until 1990. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
