Item Description

Certainly, the Chalcocites from the Flambeau Mine are among the most recognizable and highly sought after examples of the species extant. Their characteristic form and eye-catching "peacock"-like iridescence make them amazingly eye-catching and valuable. This toenail sized specimen is a grat quality group of stacked, pseudo-hexagonal (monoclinic) blades of Chalcocite with a patina or "sheen" on the surface. The display side is virtually undamaged, and displays wonderfully as you can see from the photos.
