Item Description
A showy and excellent plate from the historic Geevor Mine of Cornwall. Lightly iridescent chalcocite crystals to 9 mm richly cover the gossan matrix plate and are accented with quartz crystals. A rich ore specimen from this historic, rich mine that operated intermittently from the late 1700s to 1990! Ex Nick Talbott and Wes Parker Collections.
