Item Description

Sparkly, powder-blue chalcoalumite botryoids richly covers the gossan matrix on this showy old-timer. Chalcoalumite is a RARE copper, aluminum sulfate. It was found in the mid 1960's in the Grandview Mine, which existed in the Grand Canyon. The mine is long defunct, but when specimens were being recovered, they were some of the most incredible, and brightly colored specimens from Arizona, or anywhere else for that matter. Ex old Larry Krause dealer stock.
