Chalcoalumite and Cyanotrichite

Item Description

Chalcoalumite is a rare hydrated copper sulfate. Chalcoalumite and cyanotrichite were recently identified and analysed from this porphyry copper deposit in Chile. The vuggy matrix is richly and showingly covered with bright blue, botryoidal, chalcoalumite, sparkly azure-blue, cyanotrichite microcrystals, banded malachite and a couple of glassy gypsum blades. Colorful, rare and rich combination material from this uncommon locale.
