Item Description
Amazing, serpentine, banded, translucent, pastel-pink and flesh-pink chalcedony rims the strikingly sculptural vug that hosts a small nest of chalcedony botryoids. It looks like a giant clam in the horizontal views or as an encircling snake or with a floral aspect in the vertical view! Banded chalcedony geodes were once fairly common from this less well-known New Mexico locale in the mid 1990's. Very little has been found at this location for quite some time. Another super feature of this specimen is it's intense, two-toned, lime-green fluorescence!
