Chalcedony stalacitites (NEW Find)

Item Description

A striking, parallel-growth, LARGE CABINET cluster of multi-hued and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactites grows from the spine of another stalactite from a NEW FIND in Java, Indonesia. This cluster is shaped like an angled group of different sized smokestacks. The broken tips (many are polished) reveal the hollow tubes in the centers, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. Colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens!
