Item Description
A striking, diverging, CABINET cluster of multi-colored and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactites from a NEW FIND in Java, Indonesia. The preferential coating on the stalactites is dramatic. This cluster is shaped like bridge girders or building supports. The broken tips (most are polished) reveal the hollow tubes in the centers, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. Colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens! This one displays well without aid and looks great from either side.
