A showy, multi-hued and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactite from a recent find in Java, Indonesia. The knobs on the sides of the stalactite are dramatic and add much character. The broken base reveals the hollow tubes, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactite. This one has colors from creamy to light orange to a very pretty lavender! Pristine. Colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens! This one has fine visual appeal.
