A striking multi-hued and multi-layered, translucent and nubby chalcedony stalactite from a recent find in Java, Indonesia. The preferential coating on the stalactites is noteworth. The broken base reveals the hollow tubes in the centers, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. This one has colors from tan to burnt-orange. Pristine.
