Item Description

This is a special large chalcedony specimen, way beyond the normal quality level you see from Irai. It came to me in the quartz collection of Richard Hauck (1000 pieces, all quartz) in about 2007. An upright, bulbous, humanoid stalactite with a glowing translucent "head" has a dramatic, windblown "cape" behind him. Much of the cape is pleated and has an elaborate, thick "hem". As you can see, this is a unique and incredibly sculptural, translucent crust. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. Value of such a unique rarity to the species or locality collector??
