Item Description
Texas has a well-diserved reputation as a mineral specimen wasteland, but here is a super exception and a pseudomorph at that! Translucent and lustrous chalcedony has replaced a very sharp, textbook hexagonal, aragonite crystal. The pseudo is pristine and rests on bubbly, botryoidal chalcedony. This is an old, extremely unusual and very rare specimen from the Big Bend Area of Texas! We have offered one similar specimen (not as good) before. these are rare old classics from the early to mid 1900s in many cases.
