Item Description

Beautiful, banded, translucent, pastel-pink and flesh-pink chalcedony rims the strikingly sculptural vug lined with bubbly, botryoidal light lavender and cream-colored chalcedony. Banded chalcedony geodes were once fairly common from this less well-known New Mexico locale in the mid 1990's. Very little has been found at this location for quite some time. The outer rind and matrix on the back gives no hint of the beauty inside! Another super feature of this specimen is it's intense, two-toned, lime-green fluorescence! Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
