Item Description
An extremely rare old-timer from from a super uncommon country from the Herb Obodda dealer stock - Aden in modern Yemen. The CABINET matrix is richly covered on both sides with sparkly quartz variety chalcedony. A sculptural depression in the chalcedony is host to a sprinkling of discrete, rich purple fluorite cubes and cutoctahedrons to about 2 mm. This ultra-rare combination piece comes with an old F. Krantz label dating to after 1888 and also has a paper label in English glued to the side of the specimen. Aden was part of the British Empire at this time. This unique and historic piece is certainly 100 years old. From the old dealer stock of Herb Obodda
