Chalcanthite is rare from China and this showy and rich specimen is from an extremely rare and unknown locality in Hubei Province. Intergrown clusters of fibrous looking, pretty turquoise-blue, chalcanthite lathes cover the undulating gossan matrix on this excellent and very uncommon Chinese rarity. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
