Item Description

Mineral specimens are RARE from this extinct small Cu-Ag-Pb-Au-Zn mine. This fabulous curved ramshorn of stalactitic fibrous neon-blue chalcanthite is from a small 2006 find. Chalcanthite is natural, water-soluble copper sulphate. This surreal and most colorful piece is a post-mining formation, forming on mine walls and by the action of acidic surface waters on copper veins (MINDAT). Still, good ones are uncommon in this quality.
