Item Description

A rarely seen association specimen from un unknown locality in Siegen (or near Siegen) featuring brassy, sharp, metallic, well-formed crystals of Chalcopyrite measuring up to 5 mm sitting on rhombic, beige Ankerite crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm with associated Quartz. A good association specimen of this less than common material. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4900). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
