Item Description

Glassy, sharp, cerussite crystals partially coated with botryoidal malachite form a showy and excellent old-time specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The smoky or coloress cerussites are either clyclic-twins or single blades and richly stud all sides of the craggy matrix. This piece is hefty for its size and is actually nearly solid cerussite. A trivial bit of bruising is barely noticeable. Classic and rich combination material from the Howard Belsky Collection.
