Cerussite (var: Chome Cerussite)

Item Description

Beautiful soft yellow crystals of Chrome Cerussite attractively cover the underlying matrix on this fine specimen from the important find at the Daoping Mine a few years back. The crystals are fairy lustrous and translucent, and measure to 1.4 cm. Honestly there quite a few crystals on this piece, more than I've seen on most specimens, and they're also larger than the majority of Cerussite I've seen from this locality. Chrome Cerussite is quite uncommon worldwide and this is a fine example from this famous locale. Not much damage and showy, better in person, especially up close.
