Item Description
Cyclic twinning in Tsumeb Cerussites has produced exquisite specimens that have cemented Cerussite's place as one of this great mine's true Holy Gails. Displaying beautifully are at least two sets of these sixling, or reticulated, twins that are composed of GEMMY, bladed, and superbly lustrous crystals. These, in turn, rest on a matrix composed primarily of crystalline, prismatic Cerussite. The largest of these crystals reach at least 1.8 cm, with the bladed and twinned Cerussites not far behind. Excellent and ghostly blue-white fluorescence enhance the bonus piece even more. Almost every angle has beauty to offer, and the small amount of Duftite adds even more interest. Better in person, this small-cabinet piece is a CLASSIC Cerussite from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine.
