Item Description

Outstanding V-twinned crystal of Cerussite from the famed Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. Cyclic twinning, which this crystal has, is one of the most fascinating and appealing mineral habits, and the few minerals that can grow this way put it to good advantage. The longest arm on this Cerussite twin is sharp, translucent, and has a divine pearly luster, all of which are enhanced by the glassy faces. The gemmier, smaller arms have a richer honey-color and more of an adamantine luster. And while the form is outstanding and visually appealing, the presentation is sublime, as the twinned Cerussite is perched perfectly on the upper corner of the matrix. It stands out beautifully, and every aspect of the Cerussite enhances the aesthetics.
