Cerussite (twinned)

Item Description

This is a sharp, well-formed bladed, unmistakably Tsumeb Cerussite crystal with smaller accompanying twins. This, translucent, almost white, nearly 2.5 inch crystal displays a distinctive spearpoint shape and numerous, subtle phantoms internally that add interest and aesthetics to the piece. The phantom are even more pronounced with a little backlighting. There are a couple of reticulated twins coming off the front of the main crystal and these are somewhat highlighted by some dark dray, granular sulfides which also make up the sliver of matrix at the bottom of the crystal.
