Item Description

Cerussite from Tsumeb is one of the most classic, and more difficult to obtain species in fine specimens. This piece features a translucent white/colorless sharp, lustrous, "V"-twinned crystal of Cerussite measuring 2.0 cm across with pale yellow Mimetite on matrix. A very attractive small specimen, and good quality for the material, especially from the standpoint of aesthetics. Tsumeb specimens are rising in value by the minute it seems, and pieces like this are always in demand these days. This piece comes from the collection of Colorado collector, John Arnaud. Valued at $1200.
