The Bunker Hill Mine is a famous lead-zinc-silver mine that produced some of the finest Pyromorphite specimens from the Western Hemisphere. The mine operated for a century (closing forever in 1988), and fine quality specimens are difficult to obtain, especially 30 years after it came out of the ground. This is a rarely seen Cerussite specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, very lustrous, off-white colored "snowflake"-shaped twinned / reticulated crystals on host rock matrix. Some of the crystals even show a bit of gemminess in areas. There is a bit of roughness here and there - some crystals are contacted - but the Cerussites are still very well-crystallized and incredibly lustrous. Classic material from Idaho, you don't see it around anymore. Valued at $950. From the worldwide collection of noted Idaho collector Geary Murdock.
