Item Description
A very nice association miniature from the Tsumeb Mine. The piece is features classic, sharp, lustrous, doubly-terminated, "smoky" colored, reticulated "snowflake"-shaped Cerussite measuring 2.5 x 2.3 cm aesthetically sitting on light pink colored Smithsonite matrix. The specimen has a coating of a black oxide(?) mineral, creating an interesting two-tone effect. There are a few nicks to the Cerussite, but it's still in great shape overall. The piece displays beautifully from either side. With the price of Tsumeb specimens rising daily, this is a great opportunity to snag a classic specimen from what is considered by most people to be the most prolific mineral locality in the world. From the collection of John Arnaud. Valued at $750.
