Item Description
This piece comes from a discovery in 2022 from the famous Mfouati Mine in Republic of the Congo. This is a fine quality example of these elusive Cerussite twins. The piece is a very nice thumbnail, featuring a well-formed, distinct "V"-twin of gemmy/translucent, smoky colored Cerussite, with very minor attached matrix. No damage that I can find on the front, but there are a few contacts on the back/bottom as a result from being separated from the pocket wall. A showy and good quality example of these uncommon Cerussite specimens.
