Item Description

The lesser-seen Cerussite twins from the Nakhlak Mine in Iran are among the most beautiful examples of the species ever found. This piece is a superb, sharp, lustrous, classic "snowflake"-twinned / reticulated Cerussite group free of matrix. The piece is crystallized on all sides, but not quite a complete "floater" as there are a few minor points of imperfection that I can see on the underside. The crystals are so elegantly intergrown, and the piece truly looks like a snowflake when viewed from the correct angle. The color is a soft off-white hue which is accented by tiny bright orange tabular Wulfenite crystals. It displays beautifully as you can see from the photos, and it a excellent overall specimen that would make a great addition to any collection.
