The world-class Cerussites from the famed Tsumeb Mine are certainly among the top examples of the species ever found. These fantastic and iconic specimens are beloved for their supreme size, quality and crystallization. These piece are truly among the most sought after Cerussites in the world. This small cabinet specimen features a fairly thick, good quality, rather sharp, highly lustrous, translucent white/colorless crystal group of Cerussite forming a classic reticulated "snowflake" twin on minor matrix. The piece is in good condition for the most part, but a few nicks and imperfections can be seen in handful of places, so it's not complete damage free. It's still quite showy and certainly good quality, and would make a great addition to any Tsumeb suite, a collection of secondary ore / lead minerals, or worldwide Cerussites. A wonderful old time specimen from the world's most famous locality dating back at least 50 years. Valued $3,000-$4,000.
