Item Description
Cerussite is RARE from ANY of the 14 localities, that MINDAT lists for Bulgaria and is EXTREMELY RARE from this extinct Au-polymetallic deposit. This is an impressive, large, 360-degree columnar cluster of elongated cerussite crystals with gorgeous, textbook adamantine luster. Most of the myriad of crystals appear to be terminated, with only a scattering of broken tips. TRY to find another of this richness and quality from this obscure location! Formerly in the Bulgaria National Musuem of Earth and Man in Sofia with a 1960 date. From an East Coast collection. Value of such a fine large rarity? We feel in the $1000-1500 range is fair.
