Item Description

A pair of parallel growth Cerussite crystals are perched at the apex of this great miniature from Laurion, Greece. The pair of Cerussites resemble translucent white X-wing fighters from Star Wars in form! They are 1.5 and 1.2 cm in maximum dimension, respectively. The twins have textbook form with sharply formed crystal faces and edges with only the tip of one side crystal being incomplete. The brown gossan surface on which the Cerussites are placed is covered in sparkling, drusy Quartz crystals for perfect contrast and wonderful aesthetic effect. Good Cerussite crystals from Laurium are not at all common and this is a exceptional miniature from the locality. Ex. R. E. Reynolds collection, adn a rare locality!
