Item Description

A rarely seen example of the classic "jackstraw" Cerussite specimens from Leadville. These are not common on the market, but here are a few links for comparable pieces online http://goo.gl/cIFV2l http://goo.gl/Y5Bh1R. This specimen features sharp, white, lustrous, thin prismatic crystals of Cerussite similar to those from the Flux Mine in Arizona. Nearly impossible to find in today's market, and a great pickup for anybody who collects secondary ore minerals, Colorado minerals, or specifically minerals from Leadville.
