Item Description
RARE and rich large cerussite from the famed Bunker Hill Mine, one of the world's finest pyromorphite localities. A dramatic rich jackstraw cluster of large, elongated, adamantine luster, Flux Mine-like prisms, to around 2.6 cm, fills the sculptural vug and is flanked by smaller crystals. The oxide-coated matrix is hefty galena-rich ore. This is a very important, rare, large and rich cerussite from Bunker Hill. It is definitely one of the finer large pieces we have seen. Cerussites are highly desirable and are very uncommon, compared to pyromorphite, from this renowned mine. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. Valued at $1200-1500.
