Item Description

A RARE, outstanding and most aesthetic two-sided cerussite specimen from this famed pyromorphite locale. Few specimens of this quality came out in the long history of this mine, compared to the prolific pyromorphite production. The very sculptural cluster has classic adamantine luster with both blocky and fibrous crystals. One crystal is strongly hoppered and all of the crystals appear to be terminated, without damage. The crystals reach about 3.0 cm on this exceptional two-sided example. Mild fluorescence. Valued $1250-1500 for the rarity, locality, and quality. It is lustrous enough that you might think it was from Tsumeb! Choice and rare material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
