Cerussite & Pyromorphite on Quartz (Steve Smale Coll.)

Item Description

An adorable 1.5 cm tabular reticulated snowflake cerussite is beautifully set on the sculptural miniature quartz crust covered with jackstraw, lustrous, translucent, yellow-green, tapered pyromorphite spindles, to 7 mm. For the species and form, this is a superb rare cerussite crystal from the early 2000s finds at the Daoping Mine. There is another snowflake on the bottom, as a bonus. An exceptional and rare cerussite and pyromorphite combination from this world-class pyromorphite locale. Obtained in a large trade from prominent collector, Steve Smale.
