Cerussite pseudomorph after Phosgenite (rare) (ex Dr. Wouter van Tichelen Collection)

A never before seen pseudomorph of Cerussite replacing Phosgenite from Bytom, Poland. Despite their similar chemistry, one does not often seen both Cerussite and Phosgenite together on the same specimen. For reference, this is only the second specimen of Cerussite after Phosgenite that I can remember seeing (the first being https://www.mindat.org/photo-246678.html ). This piece is a doubly-terminated complete "floater" group featuring prismatic, tetragonal crystals of what were originally Phosgenite that have been pseudomorphed by than colored Cerussite on the surface. A really cool specimen for any thumbnail collector, a fan of secondary ore minerals or if you look for "oddball" specimens from lesser known localities.
