Item Description

An unusual and showy crust of pearlescent cerussite crystals on oxide-coated smithsonite crystals from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Some of the elongated, scalenohedral smithsonite crystals are quite gemmy and there is even a gem, 9 mm, cyclically -twinned cerussite crystal hidden on the side of this excellent piece.
